Work Experience

LumiAero

September 2019 - February 2020

A website to manage aircraft and user information for a Microsoft Excel COM add-in called LumiAero. The add-in uses an API to provide quick calculations for future market values, and risk assessment. The website has functionality to mass import/export aircraft data to and from an Excel sheet. This greatly sped up the client's workflow. The website is linked to an Azure SQL relational database, and the project was started with ASP.NET Zero.

BMA Website

May 2018 - September 2018

A conversion of the previous Blue Moon Analytics website into a serverless single page application using Reagent and Re-frame. This added consistency between their website and products that they developed. The conversion also allowed for more customization to the website. A pricing tool, blog, and a new nav bar for desktop and mobile were added as a part of the conversion.

Projects

Song List

A site to display a collection of songs in a table. Songs are stored in a MySQL database. Users can order by category (descending or ascending), and can search through the table by title or artist.

Stream Tools

A platform to customize and distribute twitch.tv widgets. The only widget included is a fundraising bar, but more will be added in the future.

Emote Combo Display

A widget for twitch.tv streamers that displays an emote on OBS and plays a sound if an emote is used enough in the chat room. The application has access to Twitch global, BetterTTV, and FrankerFaceZ emotes.

IRC Bot

An IRC chat bot used for twitch.tv. The bot manages user data, raffles, in-channel currency distribution, song requests, and games.

My Story

I went to college at Rutgers University in New Brunswick New Jersey where I received my bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I chose Computer Science as my major because of my love for video games and technology. After college, I spent some time pursuing full-time Twitch streaming. Although I saw success as a streamer, I ultimately decided to focus on Software Engineering. In my free time, I still enjoy developing applications for streamers. My first professional work was with Blue Moon Analytics as a Front-End Developer. I converted their website into a serverless single page application using Clojure and re-frame. I built added a new blog to the website and developed a pricing tool to calculate subscription costs. In late 2019, I was given another opportunity to work with Blue Moon Analytics as a Full-Stack Developer. I developed a web application using C# and ASP.NET Core to manage data for a Microsoft Excel COM add-in called LumiAero.I am currently looking for Software Engineering work either remotely or in the New York City area.
